Rooted Kids
Helping kids grow deep roots in Jesus.
Rooted Kids is the children’s ministry at First Baptist Chariton. We love creating a space where kids feel safe, have fun, and learn about Jesus in real, age-appropriate ways. Whether it’s Sunday mornings or Wednesday nights, there’s always something meaningful (and a little bit silly) happening here.
Weekly Kids Programs
Sunday School – 9:00 AM
Sunday School is available for kids starting at Pre-K and up. It’s a great time for kids to explore the Bible, ask questions, and build a foundation of faith. (No nursery care is provided during this hour.)
Kid’s Church – 10:15 AM
Our Sunday morning program begins with family worship in the sanctuary. After music, kids are invited downstairs for Kid’s Church, where they’ll enjoy a Bible lesson, prayer time, games, and hands-on activities.
Wednesday Nights – 6:30 to 7:30 PM (During the school year)
Kids Club is our fun midweek program for preschoolers through 5th graders.
We start with a large group worship time, followed by games, Bible teaching, snacks, and small groups.
Need a ride? Our church van provides local pickups—just reach out to get set up.
