Groups

As we say around First Baptist all the time, being a part of this church makes you a part of a church family. Part of being in a family is connection and fellowship, and we do that REALLY well. Additionally, part of being in a family is growing together. As a child you grow up, and even as an adult, your family relationships help you to grow and mature.

The same is true of our church. This process of growing your faith within the church family is called discipleship. Jesus shows us that discipleship is always done with others and never alone. Yet, when we look at discipleship in the Bible, we see that it comes in various shapes and sizes. Churches have found this to be true for people today. Some people like bigger groups while others like smaller groups. Some want Bible study, some want to work through topics, and others want to discuss life and pray for one another.

With all this in mind, as we consider how to help everyone get connected with a group who helps foster their spiritual growth beginning in September, we want to know about your individual preferences. So please take a moment and fill out the survey below.
