At First Baptist, we believe that there’s no junior Holy Spirit! With that in mind, no matter what age, we empower our kids to grow in their faith and experience and understand God’s love, grace, and truth. Kids Ministry is way more than childcare while the adults have real church. We teach kids at their developmental level so that we can ensure kids are learning more each week about a God who loves them!
We desire to support families to help teach their kids about Jesus because we believe that they are the most important people in a kids’ spiritual growth!
Our Van Ministry provides free transportation for anyone within a 3 mile radius of Chariton, Iowa for Sunday and Wednesday Services.
Each driver has been screened for a clean background and driving record. Each route has both a Driver and an Assistant on board who oversees the riders to ensure that all van riders have their seat belts fastened, and that all safety rules are followed.
Wednesday BOOK CLUB!
We’re delighted to announce we are starting a Kids’ Book Club, specially designed for grades K-2. For 8 weeks, your child can enjoy personalized reading support, helping them grow more confident in their reading skills.
