Avoiding Compromise: Building a Life of Integrity

Avoiding Compromise: Building a Life of Integrity

Just like the tragic Surfside Condo collapse in Miami, where construction shortcuts caused catastrophic failure, our lives stand or fall on the decisions we make each day.

This sermon challenges us to build a fool-proof life through integrity, living with honesty and strong moral principles, rooted in the fear of the Lord (Proverbs 1:7). Integrity strengthens our lives with security, guidance, and protection, while dishonesty creates cracks in our character. Since God is truth and Satan fuels deception, Christians must actively reject half-truths, omissions, exaggerations, and the forms of cheating that culture often excuses. Building integrity takes time but can crumble in a moment—yet God invites us to rebuild through daily repentance. In a world that often dismisses honesty, Jesus calls His followers to be “Oaks of Righteousness”. People with straight, solid, and firm character who can withstand life’s storms by standing on a foundation of integrity.
